Luke Mossey and the Quattro Plant TECcare Kawasaki team secured two really positive top ten results at round six of the MCE British Superbike Championship at the Brands Hatch GP Circuit. The 22-year-old from Royston gained two strong seventh places.

Luke once again made huge progress throughout the weekend on the Teccare Kawasaki and made noticeable improvements during the practice and qualifying sessions. He had a great qualifying and once again got through to the final stage, setting the fifth fastest time in Q2. He ended up starting race one from 10th place on the grid for the opening 20-lap race. He got a good start and made up a place to ninth after lap one, he got past Broc Parkes and moved up to seventh by lap five. He rode a solid race for the remainder of the 20-lap race.

Luke promoted himself to sixth place on the grid for race two but he was unable to select first gear so had to start in second which dropped him to 15th after lap one. He really did knuckle down and work hard to set some fast and consistent lap times which pulled him back up through the field. He was dicing in the closing laps with his old Supersport rival Billy McConnell. The pair switched places several times and was just beaten to the line by the current Superport Champion.

Luke Mossey - "I'm so pleased to be leaving Brands this weekend with two really good top ten finishes. This year is such a tough Championship so to be fighting up there in the points is a real confidence boost for me. Although I really like the Brands Hatch circuit, I've never really had much luck here and never had good results so to get two sevenths is a huge bonus.

I really feel comfortable now on the Quattro Teccare Kawasaki, the team really have worked so hard for me this year and we really are making some good progress and some big steps in the right direction. I can't thank them all enough for their advice, support and help to make me progress in the Superbike class and achieve some good results. A huge thank you as always to TECcare for their sponsorship again this year and now I hope I can continue to improve for the remainder of the season."
