Bennetts Suzuki's Tommy Bridewell has his sights set firmly on a place in the MCE British Superbike Championship Showdown following his recent top-five results at Cadwell Park and is confident of getting the results required in the three races at Oulton Park in the UK this weekend.
Coming into round nine of the series – and off the back of a good weekend at Cadwell Park and strong showing at Brands Hatch - Bridewell believes that the pressure is on those around him in the championship to maintain their places in the series' top-six.
Tommy Bridewell:
“For us, the goal this weekend is the same as it was at Cadwell; we've got to be at the front in every race and keep our Showdown competitors behind us. We're ruing the mistakes at Brands Hatch really, because if you look at our performances in the last few rounds - and the second half of the season - we've been really competitive and able to run at the front.
