a first bike?
Hey guys ive been interested in motorcycles every since i was a kid. And now that ive come of age im looking towards buying a motorcycle, but im not sure it will fit me. First of all, does a 6'0" 260 pound football lineman belong on a sports bike and given my...size...is there anything i should be concerned about?

As for your -real- concerns... The only person who can decide how you look/fit on a bike is you - you should go down to the local dealership and try some bikes on for size.
If the bike doesn't feel good in the showroom, you will be really tired of it after riding it around for a bit. The Suzuki GS500F is a sporty looking bike that's got a more comfortable seating position and is a suitable first bike.
