Add your data to the TMW Motorcycle Fuel Guide Version 3.0
VERSION 3.0 now up!
http://totalmotorcycle.com/MotorcycleFu ... yGuide.htm
I am currently in the stages of making Version 4.0 of our (and the interenet's first ever) Motorcycle Fuel Efficiency Guide and I need your help.
I am working hard to get fuel efficiency data from all the manufacturers, but it's hard because it's not required by law to report unlike car MPG/EPA is. Thankfully, they are working with Total Motorcycle on this.
Ok, here is your mission if you want to help out:
MAGAZINES and OWNER REPORTS:
I'll need as much fuel stats as possible so if you could take out your old magazines and dig up as many numbers as you can for the different bikes. You can also give me what you are getting for your own bike as well as I can use that too. I just need it as simple as possible:
PLEASE submit it like this:
YEAR: 2006
MAKE: Harley-Davidson
MODEL: XL883 SPORTSTER 883
Average US MPG: 53
Average L/100km: 4.5
Source (Manufacturer/Magazine/Personal):
Even if I can only get MPG or L/100km I can convert it to the other easily OR if you want to save me time, please use our Online Fuel Economy Converter Guide here: http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/converte ... verter.htm
Thanks so much for all your help.
Mike
