Good Battery Brand
I'm looking to get a good AGM battery. Made in the USA or Made in Japan.
Yuasa seems to be the obvious choice, I guess. Are there any other brands to consider? Thanks.
ps: thumbs down on the scorpion AGM. it was well maintained & lasted exactly 2 yrs. Because of the reviews, I saw at the time from various sources & it being an AGM, I was expecting about 5 yrs of service from it & was hoping for at least 3 yrs of use.

Re: Good Battery Brand
I know for sure that you only need to buy a new battery. The used one will not work for a long time

The only advice I would have is "Do not buy the ones in use"! I've had an experience of such a deal and the guy really screwed me up.

Re: Good Battery Brand
I had a Westco battery ($119) lasted less than a year. Generic unnamed battery from E-bay ($35) lasted five years. GO FIGURE.

Re: Good Battery Brand
My friend mentioned about Westco battery on sale near here. Too bad it is not that reliable. He plans to get a new battery when the new set of tires arrives this week.
