UK petrol prices get truly RIDICULOUS!!

#1 Unread post by Keyoke »

It has now reached £1.01 per litre!! (equiv to $1.85 US) (about $7 a gallon...) no signs of a big drop anytime soon, either....
Don't give up.

Not now, not soon, not after being continually knocked down.

If you never give up, you can never truly fail.

Wow! That's really high!

I thought that the rest of the world was just catching up to what you guys were paying before. It's surprising that your prices are STILL going up.

Today, it's $1.144 per litre or $4.43 per gallon. And it's the cheapest in Canada as we pump the oil and make the gas here in Alberta! (300 billion barrels down there (in the sands) vs. 260 in Saudi Arabia).

It's a joke and I will probably down grade my car because of it.

Look at it this way. If you didn't have to pay so much in taxes for gas and cigarettes wouldn't you have to pay for medical insurance? Nobody rides for free.

hmm, I'm burning between £40-£80 per month in fuel... That's about $75-$150 for 40-80 litres... how much is this charging me for medical insurance??? I think I'd rather take your prices, and pay medical separately

I'm paying $2.89 in San Antonio. It costs me $10 to top off the bike and about $60 for my oversized American car. As a student this 100% increase in prices this year has been eating my lunch. I mean, like- we make the stuff right here in this state man. We should get a friends and family discount.
The only time I feel any real catharsis is on a MOTORCYCLE!
