It's the factory 35watt sealed-beam headlight bulb. I'd like to get a spare just to keep around for quick replacement if necessary.
The only Honda dealer around does not have them in stock, but will be glad to order me a new bulb for *ONLY $80*. I thought he was joking at first, but he offered no other options, and I passed.
I tried a $15 aftermarket H4 Halogen bulb with a reflector and lens that supposedly fits my bike (just over 5"), but it was about 1/8" too big to fit the factory housing so I returned it.
Suggestions? Thanks in advance, my first post here.

Those aren't sealed beam units though mate, just replacement bulbs. He needs a sealed beam unit, which consists of the lens, reflector, and filament all in one big housing.niterider wrote:I bought a 55/80 watt holagen from a independant bike repair shop for only 12$ or so. J C Whitney has them for about 12$ 55/60; 55/80; & 55/100 watts.

head light
Does anyone know if a car head light fits? There are two diameters to try that have both high and low beam.
