ok ive really been looking over and over and these two bikes are my only two choices, i need a learner legal 125cc bike thats less than 14 bhp...so a restricted aprilia and honda cbr125 are my choices, a two stroke and a 4 stroke, im gonna probably carry a pillion passenger after my last after test course and im gonna see mysellf on the highways pretty soon too.....whih is better? i try hard but cant find any definitve enough answer.
Also sound....im trying to avoid a really high pitched bike, though the apilia's two stroke on 11 bhp seems alright. i heard its a popular learner but the two stroke, and possible l,ack of pillion passenger comfort puts me off at the moment......any help guys?
Honda cbr125 or aprilia rs125??? im at a dead end....

You can pick up the current issue of Fast Bikes magazine with the R1 SP on the cover. I bought it cuz it came with a free beanie. The beanie cost more than the magazine...imagine that. Anyway, they tested the the top 125s and luckily for you they reviewed both of the bikes you're considering.
The Aprilia Tuono 125 came in first while the CBR125R came in second out of the four bikes.
A second opinion still had the Aprilia at #1 while the CBR dropped to third behind the 2nd place Derbi GPR125.
P.S. The magazine shows nekkid hunnies wit boobies.

Horses for courses...
Your English and have your CBT right?
In which case you arent allowed to take a Pillion until you have your full licence so I reall wouldnt worry about Pillion comfort because you probably wont be keeping the bike beyond picking up your full licence.
The Aprillia in this Country is restricted but is supposed to be a lot of fun. The problem I hear about them is that the bike encourages you to hold the throttle open for prolonged periods of time and the engine then goes bang.
The Honda is a Honda, not so much a babyblade as a fetusblade I guess. Its Honda so its comparitively over engineered and dosnt go bang, bt its also a Honda and not quite so exciting as the RS.
If you want a bike that will take a kincking and keep on ticking then go with the Honda. If you are up for the maintainence and taking care of your new baby then go the RS route.
With an unlimited budget I would and I love Honda's.
To quote TWO's used section:
Aprillia RS125 Flyweight GP renegade with rev-happy, tricksy powerband and sublime steering. Has never met one careful owner.
and in the new:
RS125 £3,899.
Best 125 race rep, only the Cagiva Mito comes close. Work that gearbox, scream that engine and enjoy one of the puriest motorcycling pleasures...
CBR125 £2,349.
Replaces the NSR125, not the fastest but a good looking and reliable learner tool. Currently selling well.
