define slow. As in someone who goes the posted speed limit, or someone who goes 10 mph UNDER the posted speed limit... in a 45 mph zone.

I consider myself a slow driver. I drive my cage 60 to 65 most of the time. Most of my road is wide enough that I can move over to let traffic go around me and I do. On my bike I go about speed limit and still have to move over for some traffic. I share the road with a bunch of red neck drivers in thier SUV's and big deisel engine trucks. I don't think I should die cause I drive slower than others.

If someones following the posted speed limit, there's no reason to feel anger against them for following the law. Now, if some "O Ring" is going waaay under, clicking down a gear and passing when it's safe to do so isn't so bad. Just uh, watch out for cops when passing on a double yellow

I hate speeders, but I also hate speeders who think they have the right of way.

Generally speaking, I've got no problem moving over to let someone faster then me pass. But most of the places I drive or ride are double lanes in each direction, so pasing it rarely an issue. I just make a point of trying not to have them weave through traffic. Mostly because I don't want to be a witness to whatever accident they cause.

Personally I'll usually drive or ride at about 10 over. Just enough that I can slow down easily if I see a leo.

On the highway it's a lot faster, but shrug.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I try to stay on the right to allow for a passing lane. But if I'm passing someone in the left lane, I don't need some jerk to ride my tail 2 inches because he wants drive 85 on the freeway.

Out here the freeway sign may read "65", but the State Troopers and everyone else does between 75 and 80 so...yeah...we generally do get pissed-off when we get behind someone going 65 in the fast lane.

Yea, that is the way it is in on the Garden State Parkway in NJ, Zoo. Some parts are 55mph zone and people will be going 75-80 in fast lane on regular basis. The other lanes are usually around 70-75, and people go a little faster where speed limit is 65 mph. On 25 mph straigh away streets I will usually go a little under 40 like everyone else basically. I hate getting stuck behind the person that does the speed limit.
