Starter bike for a giant lol
What is a good starting cruiser for a guy that is 6'11" 310 lbs? I went down to the Harley shop in my town and sat on a Road King and a Dyna Wide Glide. Both felt really good but I don't really want to start on a $17,000 bike because I will die if I lay it down.

ok you said you sat on a road king and felt good on it?
why don't you try the suzuki C50...

based on that, it's about as big as the road king.

I can live with the loss of power. I am not 19 and industructable anymore and really don't care about how fast I get there, I just need enough to haul my big a$$ around. The most important thing to me is comfort. I am still dreading the msf class I start in 3 weeks ( all they have are honda rebels and 1 buell )

That's so the 19 year old supermen don't kill themselves. Doesn't hurt the rest of the class either.toodmtall0611 wrote:all they have are honda rebels and 1 buell
I think you'd be happy with the c50 or maybe some of the honda bike. Actually, I think there was a link a bit ago showing a C50 with a custom paint job saying "Hardly -A- Davidson". All the cruisers have similar looks and Harley's are nice, but I don't think they're worth as much as they cost. Then again, I'm the kind of guy who would pay the extra few grand from your Road king and buy the Goldwing with the gps navigation system...

If you have ever seen the Guniess Book pic of the fat twins on the mini bikes I would be the one on the left.If you could get someone to take pics there at the training course on the Rebel it may help other tall riders to get an idea of the size issue on that kind of bike.
