What's the best book to find the value of my bike?

#1 Unread post by temptin »

I have a 2003 Honda VLX. Theres probley 3200 miles on it, it's been garage kept and never been dropped. I added leather saddle bags and tassle grips to it. Does anyone know if there are other books beside the Kelly Blue Book to find the value? I'm ready to move up :D

some people refer to nada but i think that's basically the equivalent of kbb dealer trade in value. most private sellers rely on kbb retail i think.

I would also check the local listings on craigslist and cycletrader to see what similar bikes are going for. I found the prices in NADA to be too low for my bike, but people use it as a bargaining tool.
