Hello all,
I bought my first jacket last week. When I tried it on at the store it fit really well, snug but not tight. When I brought it home, it is one of those all year jackets (tourmaster flex), and removed the inner windbreaker and liner, it became significantly roomier. During summer, when I plan to do most of my riding, this is how I plan to use it (ie without the liner). Should I be concerned that the armor moves around a bit? I believe that if I tried a smaller size, I would not fit into it with the liner in place. Any opinions on how snug a jacket should be??

i have a 1stgear fuel jacket and w/o the liner it does have a little more room.
i don't think having it a little loose will be a big deal as long as the armor is still where it should be.
my 1pc suit is also a little roomy but all the armor is where it should be, i think if i bought 1 size smaller, length will be a problem plus, the chest size is already fit for me even though other parts have more room.
i think it's better to fit length more than width regarding protective gear. unless of course, it's really really loose that it slides up or down on you.
