Description:

Triumph Thunderbird SportTriumph Adventurer

Back by popular demand, the Thunderbird Sport makes a re-appearance in Triumph’s 2003 range. Offering a more-sporty ride than the regular Thunderbird, it’s a machine for those who desire more punch from their classically styled motorcycle.
Triumph’s trademark triple engine is retuned for maximum performance, while the addition of fully adjustable suspension and twin disc front brakes allow you to make the most of the agile chassis.

The deep chrome finish on the headlamp surround, tank badge and silencers highlight the classic good looks and glamorous attire, while the eye-catching paint scheme, of vibrant Tangerine Orange with Black infill, is completed by hand-applied gold coachlines for that distinctive finish. - Triumph

Notes: Originally inspired by the famous X-75 Hurricane version of Triumph’s first three-cylinder model in the late sixties, the Thunderbird Sport marries the classic flat-track look with a more road-oriented focus designed to allow sports riders to get the best from the T’Bird’s undoubted abilities.

MBG Says: Based on the retro Thunderbird model, Triumph visually altered the Sport in order to give it a sporty look. The performance level is also higher than that of the retro Thunderbird since the engine was sport tuned. Different carbs and camshafts, along with a new exhaust system as said to be responsible for the higher power (from 70 to 82hp). Instead of the 18" front and 16" rear, the Sport has relatively wide 17" front and back rims that can accept sport tires.

IGM (Best Buy) Says: This is Triumph's hot-rod cruiser. It is one of the fastest, best-handling cruisers you can buy.
