It gets about 55 miles to the GALLON which I'm not gonna complain about. The power/pickup isn't to ...

Exhaust crossover?

The mufflers on my yamaha 650 have holes in them. I see replacement mufflers all over with no crossover. Anyways, I planned on just getting the slip on type and eliminating the crossover. H1..(drool) I've got an s3, that ones pretty snappy and fast for a 400. Bought it in the late 80's for $100.00. I'm hoping to restore it sometime soon. I wish the 650 Yamaha I'm ridding was as snappy as that s3!

If they're real bad I would use aluminum wheel cleaner 1st. **wear rubber gloves and face mask, it has acid in it** Then I would step it down with steel wool - course, medium, fine then polish.

This is gonna sound strange but it works... After polishing or light oxidizeation flour or babypowder on ...

I'm just posting my 2-cents as an example:

I added about 30 led lights to my Kenworth last spring. When I ran the wire, I soldered every joint and probably over did it with the shrink tubing.

A friend of mine added lights to his Peterbuilt and used PLAIN buttconnectors and wirenuts to save time ...

I read in a magazine article that using anything with amonia damages the chrome. Repeated use, depending on how thick the chrome layer is, will reveal the underlying nickel layer.
