The bike is a good one, and has many features (introduced years ago ahead of its time) that compare well with bikes today. The stock seat is notoriously uncomfortable. However, considering that Kawi will be ending the V-750 line this year (that's what I hear), it will be an orphan bike, but its been ...

I gotta see this movie......

On one subject......I keep wondering, who's a "Poseur" (or Poser) and who's not? as if there was some sharp line that defined who is and who isn't.

If you ever considered, for one moment, if you looked sharp in your new leather or mesh jacket, or boots, etc., and if ...

I like being a club member

Not to be critical, but I don't know that you've been looking very hard. There are so many motorcycle clubs that are just basic riding clubs, that they are too numerous to list. I don't see many clubs that are focused on drinking at bars as their main entertainment. I would definitely shun any club ...

A standard bike... a few a produced like the posts below list...... However, you've probably noticed, like me, that they are styled like crotch rockets and sometimes have similar riding positions. You might consider some BMW bikes in the 1200 series or the Yamaha FTR. These are now called "adventure ...

It's human nature

People do it with cars too,

Some guys have got to find their niche and want to identify with an owners group. Some people are bery brand conscious. I have never looked at stuff like that..... but a lot of guys do. I hate to slam HD owners, but they are the most brand conscious of any motorcycle ...

Actually, I can see doing that. I asked my veteran bike buddy if he thought that knowing how to (1) drive a stick shift manual transmission and (2) knowing how to ride a bicycle, are two important requisites for learning to ride a motorcycle. He said he did'nt think so....but he also said he never ...

pretty funny. As a gay guy myself I had to chuckle along.

I like NBA ball and I'll always remember Hardaway (Tim) as a great player. He was never in the elite group but in the group of players just below that.... still a great player, Multi time MVP and All-Star. Believe or not, I kind of respect ...

I don't think the bike is too small. It's a mid size bike. What you might consider is if the bike is physically too small for you. Are you over 6' 2" and maybe over 220 lbs? If so, then the bike may be a bit small for you.
