it was pouring rain but I had to go somewhere so by God I did, even though I'm new and the conditions would cause even some experienced riders to soil themselves.

I don't have a permit or endo and I've been riding about a month and a half.
I really should get that endorsement though...

What's kept me from the MSF is the absolutely reeecockulous waiting list for the course.
No way I'm gonna just not ride for months until those clowns have an open subsidized ...

Tapping the back wheel seems like a bad idea. Constantly changing the back tires speed will make it more prone to slip.

Of course, what would I know? You're a better rider

Advice on fast stops in wet weather

What's the best technique for a fast stop from high speeds on a wet surface?

I am not sure when I think about it if I have had to make any REALLY fast stops when it's been raining since I rode conservatively.
But when I do, I seem to come down semi-hard on the front brake while tapping the rear ...

Any chance of the Italians joining the displacement wars?

We've got Yamaha with the V-Max, Suzuki with the new Busa, Kawasaki with the ZX-14, and Honda with whatever they're replacing the CBR1100 with.

What I want to see is Italy's V-twin answer to this and England's 3-cyl.

Or is this pipe dreaming?

What kind of transmissions are these bikes running?

Do they use F1 style hand shifters or are they regular bike foot pedals?
