Bike issues

Alright, so I talked to my bank, got a co-signer and got myself a $3K loan for my bike ('95 Honda CBR 600). When I first even looked at the bike, I saw it had an assembled title, and I asked the shop if that would affect my insurance at all, and they said 'No'. Well, I went to EVERY insurance place ...

I don't doubt the deck is stacked pretty high against me, but that has also been true for many areas of life for me for more than a few years, and I've managed to persevere through that. God bless and be willing, I will persevere through this learning period and bring myself to become a responsible ...

Hmm....that's a really interesting fact. I'm learning a little from my uncle, and then the MSF (which by nature I'll listen to above pretty much any other advice unless widely and fully disagreed upon by cyclists), so I guess that puts me in......I hope to ride responsibly and never crash?

An uncle of mine (experienced rider since he was a child) has been teaching me the basics of motorcycling. First I got used to the clutch and shifting on a small dirt bike, and now he is teaching me on not-oft-travelled country roads on his CBR 600 F4. He taught me to countersteer, but he didn't use ...

No...some people get on a bike and most of what they do is intuitive. They can just ride. They need practice and to develop their skills, but the basics concepts are already there. GhostRider doesn't know why the bike won't 'steer' in the direction he wants...its just not intuitive to him. There's ...

New Bike=What work to be done?

When you first get a used bike from somewhere other than a dealership, what are some areas that might need work? Or areas that might not NEED the work, but wouldn't be a bad idea at all. Tires, Oil, etc?

I know without seeing or hearing about the condition of the bike you can't offer just as much ...

I am scheduled to take the MSF Basic Rider Course at a college near me the weekend of October 13th. I took a ride on a '99 Honda CBR F4 600, and counter-steering wasn't as noticeable on that, so I was wondering if it was merely a difference in bikes or something that shouldn't be happening ...

Steering the wrong way?

First Post! :D Glad to be among a seemingly great, responsible and helpful group!

So I was test riding a '96 Honda CBR 600 F3 earlier today, and I noticed that when I went to turn, the bike did not want to easily go where I wanted. Now since I was test riding another's bike, I didn't lean much at ...
