Is lane splitting legal in Ohio?

i think the old addage- "its not wrong till you get caught" applies.

i dont make a practice of lane splitting but on occasion i have been known to (esp. if theres not turn lane to turn right at a stop light i split the curb and traffic to turn on red) i live in TN

thank the gods for Lane Splitting in California...if they ever out lawed it...I might quit riding...... :roll:

And I thought it was legal everywhere. I've been to 48 states, minus Alaska and Maine, and the only other place I'd rather live in the US than here in Northern California is Southern California. Just one more thing to appreciate about living here.

I wish it was legal here in TX but last I've heard the bill was shot down.


If there was a way to prove that lane splitting wasn't as dangerous as people think it is, that'd be nice.

But something about a motorcycle passing within a huge gap between one car and the next just makes people angry/nervous/whatever.

interesting, that little sheet implies exactly what i thought, it is not referenced in the motorcycle law digest printed by the state of ohio.
