Well...

#1 Unread post by jacob »

I rode out on the streets for the first time today. I had been practicing in my driveway for the past couple days getting used to the controls. So tonight I took it up and down the road I live on. Then I decided to take it for a longer ride. Rode to work to show all my coworkers. Only got about an hour of riding in cause it started to get dark and since I only have my temps I can't be riding at night.

Great weather for it today. Nice to see a fellow central WI rider here. Practice makes perfect - keep it up.

Good job bud! That's how I started riding. Found myself a big school parking lot and practiced for a while and before i knew it I was a few hundred miles away from home having the time of my life. just stay focused and practice and you'll do fine. There are alot more cars are there today (bikes too) then when I started so keep an eye on them. If it looks like they could do something stupid chances are they will.

you should find somebody to ride with. its safer out there when ur riding in a group of other bikes, blind old ladies driving old buicks may see a group of bikes better than one bike, its getting crazy out there, everytime I take my bike out I get at least one close call where someone wants to run me down, I even have to stop at green lights, just be very carefull out there

stopping at green lights? no wonder you almost get run down, one of these days you'll catch a pontiac up your tailpipe and then we'll have to hear why it's suzuki's fault.
