what kind of earplugs?

It may just be me being immature or something, I'm only 18  , but if I get bored on the freeway, I pretend that I am racing. I don't start going overly fast though. I'll make racing noises, pretend passing and getting passed actually makes a difference, and change lanes more frequently. Don't interpret this as I'm flying through traffic recklessly as I don't go that far, but playing games with yourself does make the ride funner.

I was with you up to the "games" part....
Ride it like you think owning it matters.

 Chris, I don't think that is being immature at all. Actually, you must be focusing on your surroundings in oder to play the games and that is the goal, isn't it?

 Maybe I should've used "by myself" unstead of "with".

Lately I'll sing to myself, make funny noises, quote movies, and test my ability to focus rapidly on far then near objects. Makes time go by a little faster. Of course, once you hit the twisties who cares about keeping yourself occupied??
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
