what kind of earplugs?Gadjet wrote:I wear in-ear style headphones that fit comfortably underneath my helmet and not only function as speakers, but also as earplugs. They actually work better than my earplugs for blocking out unwanted wind/engine noise (I have a KLR; 650cc single; nuff said)

It may just be me being immature or something, I'm only 18
, but if I get bored on the freeway, I pretend that I am racing. I don't start going overly fast though. I'll make racing noises, pretend passing and getting passed actually makes a difference, and change lanes more frequently. Don't interpret this as I'm flying through traffic recklessly as I don't go that far, but playing games with yourself does make the ride funner.

Lately I'll sing to myself, make funny noises, quote movies, and test my ability to focus rapidly on far then near objects. Makes time go by a little faster. Of course, once you hit the twisties who cares about keeping yourself occupied??Chris8187 wrote:It may just be me being immature or something, I'm only 18, but if I get bored on the freeway, I pretend that I am racing. Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
