Dirtbike with street tires. It really is that damn simple.

What is it about Supermoto that turns you on so much?

I think you just saw a video of some guys drifting on bikes and you thought it was cool.. like you saw the flames coming out of an exhaust pipe and thought that was cool.. etc etc.

Calm down already!

No, Verm. I think you are missing the point here. The idea is to get out of control and figure out how to get it back. Search for traction. Learn to slide.

Check this out to see what I mean. These guys have been around for a long time and the pros use the camp to tighten their skills.

Kenny Roberts (not Junior) used to take racers to his ranch and abuse them on XR100's. You do know who Kenny Roberts is, right? If not, do some research.
I would be the old, slow guy. Just let me know where you are going and I'll try to get there before you leave.

yeah i learned about KR when i watched some racing documentaries.

and like i said, the trackday org i posted lets you use their XR100s if you want before hitting the tracks. they also teach on XR100s, in fact when i get my 1st trackday w/ them... i'd like to get some time on the XR100 before i hit the tracks that same day.

OK, this is like the one millionth time in one for mor another that this gets posted to you Verm.

Why use a smaller bike before using your own!? Might it be because it's better/easier to learn the skills on the smaller bike before moving to the bigger bike!?
