Heard that the Grizzly ATV will have power steering.

The V-Star 1300 is water-cooled.

One of our salesmen went ot Vegas for the update. Said he saw a CLAY mock-up of the V-Max. Clay...nice.

He may have said more but I was too busy makin' some dolla's!

I was reading everything I can about the new Yamaha 1300, but I thought it was oil cooled, I could be wrong. Thats the bike I want, the Honda VTX1300 just doesn't fit me, its too big like a bus. Honda? ""'yawn"""' they never come out with any new models or exciting bikes they are just """"yawn""""" b-o-r-i-n-g !

Yamaha V Star 1300 Tourer ordered :-)

#4 Unread post by V-Star 1300 Tourer »

I am a new member here and really enjoy this site For those of you that haven't herd this yet, Yamaha has a new bike coming out this year the 2007 V Star 1300 Tourer. I have had one on order since 6/29/07 red color, but I haven't gotten it yet to show any pictures. I will paste a link to the site that has all of the information and pictures. I think this will be a great bike, it has EFI, water cooling, and belt drive to name a few. I was just about to get a Vstar 1100 Silverado when the Yamaha dealer show in Las Vagas premeired the new bikes and my dealer told me about this one so I put my order in rite then. For accessories I have Big Bars engine guards, passenger floorboards, passing lights, 3-Crome fender tips, fender trim rails, saddle bag trim rails, crome light visors, luggage rack, cig. lighter for power acc., Kuryakin grips w/ throttle boss, and billet accessiories. I'm really excited to take delivery a.s.a.p. , but it will be awhile yet. I've taken the MSF riding course and just celibrated my 63rd birthday last week. After all of these years I have learned to be patiant, NOT, LOL :D

Keep us updated on the new purchase when you get it. I started out 2 years ago at age 66 on a Yamaha 650 and now have a Yamaha 1100 Silverado. It's about as big as I want to get and while the 1300 is very attractive will stick with the 1100 for now. There is a Delphi forum for the new 1300 that is just getting started. Have fun and ride safe when it arrives!
