Beep?
Wimpy horn. About the only cool use I've gotten out of it so far is when I was going through an intersection and a biker on the left lane didn't notice me (he was waiting for the light to change) so I went "TOOT TOOT!" and he looked and we exchanged our biker waves.

might make it to the Dr.Phil show with a problem like that.might give him something to talk about besides telling 400 pound women that they really are beautiful.storysunfolding wrote:I'm sorry. If you had to do that then you're obviously a wave mean. Don't get me wrong. My horn didnt work when I got it, and I looked for a bike horn but they had to be ordered. I was planning to take my road test the next morning, so I needed a working horn for my bike to pass inspection. I went to the autoparts store and got a car horn off the shelf. I got the one that said "twice as loud", and "made in USA".
It passed inspection. It sounds like a truck or large car horn. I give it a tap reguarly to let people know I am there. I ride with my thumb on it when passing cars, not actually pushing it mind you. I see no need for a relay to run it. Its rarely on, and not for very long. The battery and wiring can handle that IMO. I run an air horn in my car with stock wiring.
