Dude, stick to your goals!
I frequently hear you remark that you'd love to participate in a track day, but have been thus far unable due to financial reasons. If anything, you should be commiting your financial resources to making your dream of a track day come true rather than mucking about with such superflous distractions as this pit bike.
do you think i can make this street legal/capable?

here's my priorities right now...
1. get a better job.
2. convince my buddy w/ a trailer to attend a trackday.
3. suspension upgrades.
well, that's about the big ones. i didn't include tire cost since i consider tires part of normal maintenance eventhough it's freaking expensive as well.
then maybe after a few more trackdays... i'll consider getting a slip-on.

We get street legal things like that...all over the placef or about the same cost give or take $500.
Practically anything is road legal here so longas its registered, insured and you're license properly.
I wouldn't try to make that road legal, echoing flynrider's sentiments. And it doesn't need to be road legal to be a pit bike. Personally, unless you have land or a large area where you can just take it out of the garage for a spin, I wouldn't buy it. Otherwise you'll have to haul it where you can ride it. Or try to ride it on the street and hope you don't get stopped by the cops or run over by therest of the world.
I had a 50cc mini dirt bike before I got mine, but sold it to make room. I could pick up the dirtbike and stick it in the back of my suv and drive out to the beach to play around. I also did take it on the streets in my neighborhood here. But I wouldn't recommend that, people are jerks.
