60-70mph. Anything lower and it's not happy in top gear. Above 70, it's starts to buzz.

same here - 60-70 mph is the comfort zone for the bonneville. I guess it would be higher if I threw on a little windscreen, but I don't usually have the road open enough to go much above 75-80 anyway.

Clifford (the RS) starts to really settle in at about 80. Anything below that and I have to drop a gear to accelerate. Now Muffin (the GS) has no wind protection, and starts to really beat me up above 65 mph.

yep, especially if those back roads are canyon roads or twisties. :righton:

the best of the best... I would be the happiest person if i didnt go over 60 MPH all day, if i could just cruise on canyon roads with lots of twisties!

Well lately I've been really bad...I've been cruisin at 80-85 with spurts up to 115-120.

I gotta start making myself behave and keeping it around 75...

However thats on the freeway. I get bored and just want to play with the speed aspect. I would much rather do a solid 40-45 on back roads.
