I remember someone saying I could only buy one "type" of tire for my '78 CB400TII Hawk...but I don't remember WHAT they said.
Something about being able to run ONLY bias-ply? Or was it something different?
Need to know, looking for new tires...

I don't think your bike requires any kind of special tires, other than being the correct size. I advise you to get a matched set of tires. I put a set of Bridgestone S11s on my GL 500 last year. Good tire and not too expensive.

I like that rim/tire combo in that picture. Would look good on the KZ...hmm... On second thought, getting new rims would probably cost more than I paid for the bike.
Those tires do look nice though.
