I passed my BRC!
I passed my BRC!
Hi again -
Just a quick post to let you know that I took the whole course again (cuz I could), and I passed, no problem. I feel so fortunate that I was able to do it all over. For free!! Practice practice practice makes me a better rider. What a blast. Thanks to everyone!
Now I'm off to visit my Dad (MSF RiderCoach) next weekend - the sad part is, he may be too weak to ride anymore. He has a friend who is willing to let me ride her Rebel. If he can't ride, we'll just go see "Wild Hogs".

+1 on the David Hough books. I have read both Proficient Motorcycling and More Proficient Motorcycling more than once. They are part of my motorcycle library. There is some overlap and similarities in the books, but both are great reads. I've learned a lot of stuff that I didn't pick up in the MSF course. No telling how many lives Hough has saved.
Now take it slow at first, keep the shiny side up, and have a ball!!

Congratulations on your accomplishment, Allison.
Read what you posted in Ladies Lounge about your Dad. Sorry to hear about that. Wild Hogs is a great idea, it's supposed to be stupid-funny... Mrs. Stark & I have been looking forward to it for weeks. Best wishes for you and your Dad.
