Yo might be a putz if:

you don't bother to type out "for"

you mispell the word "putz" two posts after being called one

you ask for advice and then ignore it

you don't use periods, except for incomplete ellipses

Anyway, try google for your technique questions or

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kawasaki_ZX-7R

according to Wiki, the top speed, stock, is over 160 mph and it has 123 bhp. Those numbers should answer question about "get up and go".

The advice here will be to learn on something that less than 60 hp or so or you risk seriously hurting yourself, your bike, and others.

You bought it without knowing anything about the bike or bikes in general?

Why? You obviously know that the internet exists. It can be useful for consumer research.

According to Wikipedia there is no such thing as a 1990 zx7r; production started in '95.

Okay seriously, stop slamming him. It's not a beginner bike, we all know that. Now he knows that.

Again, take the MSF they will teach you how to ride.

Oh, and you don't lean on a bike, you induce lean through the handlebars.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Relax man, your question just seemed really B.S thats all. :) Seriously dude, take a riding course. You drive big rigs? Would you let some newbie who drove his moms vega take a 18 wheeler for a spin?

Sev...what da fu, you don't lean on a bike? :o Yes, I understand counter-steering, but no lean? No peg-weighting? Perhaps I misunderstood, forgive me if this is the case. :)
