got my endorsement today!

#1 Unread post by swervedriver »

i haven't taken the msf course yet, (i plan to in the next couple of weeks)
but i went and took the test anyway. i have been reading, practicing riding, and learnng everything i possibly can, like a madman.
i think i am obsessed!
the written test was kinda hard but, the riding test here in louisiana is a joke. the lady came out and told me to go over there and ride a couple of circles then come back and stop. that was it! on one hand i'm glad it was easy but, on the other hand i kinda felt cheated after all the practicing i've been doin. kinda like studying for the big test and going to class and having a substitute teacher who doesn't give the test. lol.
anyway, i have learned a lot on this forum and i'm sure i will continue to do so. i dig being part of the motorcycle community.
peace

Congratulations on getting your endorsement! Make sure you follow up and take that MSF. It might be tempting now that you have your license to keep putting it off, but it can save your life.

Thats just scary. In the UK, the test is rather tough. to just do a couple of circles and stop, you gotta wonder what the point of the practical test is

Congrats on passing. :) Glad to hear you're going to take the MSF. I think the MSF is worth taking for, if no other reason, the ability to do things like swerve/panic stop/etc on someone else's bike. ;)

If that was the case, the MSF course is even more important!

Congrats!

thanks everyone.
i'll be signing up for the msf course shortly.
every now and then i catch myself getting a little too comfortable and have to slap myself back into the reality that i don't know squat about motorcycle riding. i know i will always have a lot to learn.
