I passed the MSF BRC Sunday and I had a blast. I was very impressed with the course and instructors. So much so I am thinking about applying to be a Rider Coach after I get some experience under my belt.
I have read about the course but would like to hear from some actual coaches about the process of becoming one.
Give me the "Good, Bad and Ugly" about becoming a Rider Coach.
Thanks.
Any MSF Rider Coaches out there?

What state are you in? Just curious...
It takes about 60-80 hours of training, including classroom and range training. You'll have to pass a knowledge test and riding test.
In MD, depending on whether you're contracted to teach at a "State" site or an independent site, you may get paid for the training hours, AFTER you are certified.
I'm nearing the end of training myself, and it has been a blast.

I just became a rider coach on April 8th and I'm teaching my first class this weekend.
The individual process varies by state but the MSF tries to make everything as standard as they can. Check out the information available at their website here
It was a great experience for me. It was long though with 90+ hours of training over 3 weekends (fri, sat, sun). Our group really bonded and we even got together with our trainers last night for dinner and hope to have a group ride soon.
Our first weekend was familiarization with the BRC, ending with a skills test. Our second weekend we taught each other the BRC a few different times and ended with a knowledge test. Our final weekend involved teaching two real classes and that was the biggest test of all![/url]
