Yes, I'm in Saskatoooooooon!!!!

I was looking for a gooseberry frap... lol

Yup, it was definitely a hot one. I'm just killing a bit of time while my MP3 player and GPS recharge... lol. Then I'm going to rest a bit then hit the road for a bit more. Not going to push it though...

I have to look at the map to see what's out there... lol.

??? Weather.com says it was a high of 77F in Saskatoon yesterday. Hot?

It's 88 and humid right now in Jersey, headed for 90. That's just a little warm...... it'll get "better" here in July and August

Doc, where'd you end up staying assuming you left Saskatoon last night to go a bit further? And how'd you like the Drumheller ride?

Blues - have to get you here for Icefields Parkway and Drumheller sometime - since you have such an interest in photography & take such good ones...very scenic lure!!

Yes, it's hot this weekend for a change, no sudden unexpected snowstorms like in Calgary area... was that just last weekend?

KC, how late in the season would that ride be rideable? I will have to reschedule 3 weeks vacation time before the end of the year or I will lose them.
I will still have 2 weeks I can add on to next year.

I guess this was the longest leg yet. I broke it up by taking a short break at a rest stop near Bredenbury and made a small electrical repair to the trailer. When I had finished the repair, I noticed the weather was looking pretty ugly, so I jumped on the bike and made a fast ride to out run the oncoming storm.

Okay, another short day. I had a long exhausting ride yesterday and it took it's toll on the trip today.

I refuse to ride the lake country at night, it's just too risky with all the wildlife out there...

There's enough road kill out there to feed a small African nation, heck, make that a large one...

Tomorrow I'm going to try to get as close to Sault Ste. Marie as possible, probably around Heron Bay...

Just ripping across the country doesn't leave a whole lot of time for pictures etc., I'll try to post a few more when I can...

Blues, may I suggest to the end of September for the Icefields area...? Or possibly even mid-Sept to be sure? Maybe one of the Calgary members will read this and have a better idea (High_Side - where are you?) as I've only been that way once and it was in a car and quite a long while ago. I think Drumheller stays warmer longer so it's still good to the end of Sept at least.

Wow, your really haulin' across the country! Way to go! :D

You should make this topic into a Blog, it's becoming quite popular. (let me know if you want to move it in there as I don't mind).

Ride safe out there and take more photos! haha.

I see that GPS is working great as your not lost...

Okay, another one of those days...

It started out as a rainy, no make that a pouring day, lol. It was at times a deluge, all the way between Dryden and Thunder Bay, where it finally let up. I had to take it quite slow at times as poor visibility and slippery roads were the concern for that part of the ride

Then it became delay after delay due to construction... yikes!!!

So, I didn't quite make it to Heron Bay, I filled the tank and called it a day in Terrace Bay.

Driving distance: 552.4 kilometers

Tomorrow??? Who Knows??
