Winter Is Almost Over: Are You Ready

#1 Unread post by mswarrior »

I don't know about you all but I have spring fever in the worst way. Every time I enter the garage I look at the covered bike and wish I could get on and go.

My Interceptor 1000 is booked in for fork seals, f&r sprockets, chain, f&r tires, oil pump "little leak", and oil. The rush at the dealers is starting and bookings are going fast. Had I waited any longer I would have missed some of the nice weather to come.
Many say live to ride, I say ride is to live.

I already started about a month ago. Then, once I bought my new bike two weeks ago, haven't been in a car since. Probably won't til it snows next winter. Taking the bike in for 600 mile service tomorrow. So I'm ready.

I've got to replace a missing set screw that connects the carb choke shaft to the choke and I've noticed the bolts holding my left footpeg are a bit loose. Otherwise I'm ready to go.

Waiting for a dealer to get around to your bike is the pits when the weather is nice and getting nicer so I try to do as much as possible myself.

If it would rain for 2 or 3 days and get all this crappy salt off the roads I'm more than ready to go. This PMS is killing me. No riding since December. That's absurd. Come on spring, I'm ready for a good 500 to 700 mile weekend. :D
Live it like you mean it, this ain't no dress rehearsal!
