Interesting, never thought about embordery in that way. I only thought about it in the "it's high quality look" type of way. humm, something to think about seriously then.slimcolo wrote:Silk screen not embordery (ever wear one in wind) Long sleeve orange.

I have poor luck with silk-screening, the graphics tend to peel off before the shirt gets worn out and it gets converted to a shop rag before its time. I'd prefer embroidered... but I don't often wear just a shirt in the wind, so the extra weight doesn't bother me much
.

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Since I wear a jacket over my t-shirt when riding, the embroidery won't be flapping in the wind.
Another thing is....valid question here....how long do we expect a t-shirt to last anyway. Do we need embroidery so it will last 20 years or will we get tired of wearing it in a few years anyway making the silkscreen a valid option?
Decisions, decisions.

T-shirts lasting 20 years? Or 10? Or 1?
Hell, after 6 months, mine are cut-up, full of holes and worn thin in the chest and shoulders..... not that such deformities would cause me to toss one out before it fell off me.
And t-shirts make lousy rags anyway. That's what towels are for.

Sadly, I only have so much money to buy T-shirts this time around. It doesn't mean there won't be long sleeve T-shirts, just that I'm not rich to buy 160 of each style. I had to make a decision and order what I thought would be most popular off the bat, or I couldn't make enough to do it again. Long sleeves are a few dollars each more expensive, but I promise to look at getting them in the future.slimcolo wrote:What happened to long sleeves?

Hope you understand.
But, look on the bright side, you can get yourself a really nice T-shirt and I can use that money to put it towards buying more and possibily expanding the line to include long sleeves in the future.
