Hello from Nebraska

#1 Unread post by Montymouse »

Hello everyone, I'm new to riding and obviously new to this forum. I bought my first bike last month (May) and am having a lot of fun riding it. I bought a 2007 Suzuki Boulevard S40 and am very happy with my decision. At 6' 0" and 220 it actually fits me pretty well and gets me going when and where I need it to. So far I've only put 200 miles on it but now that I've got my license and can ride it to work on my one it will get more use.

I found this forum and have been reading quite abit on it and have found some very useful information so I figured I'd reg. and say Hello and thank you for the info.

Welcome to the site. The s40 is a wonderful bike, I'm glad you chose it. I pray you have many good times with it and very few bad times (but at least one that's not too bad just so that you can truelly appreciate the good times... maybe run out of fuel once a half mile uphill from a gas station.)

Thanks for the reply storysunfolding, I'm sure that with out having even a tripmeter the bad experience of running out of gas you mentioned might happen but for now I'm mentally keeping track of what the mileage is when I fill up. :D I love the fact that after 100 miles I needed a little less the 2 gallons to fill it up.
