cruel joke
cruel joke
Everybody told me to take the BRC course, get a full face helmet and good gloves, ride within my limits and all the usual saftey stuff.
Nobody told me that after i started riding I would never have the time to ride as much as I want, that the weather would be perfect for riding when I have to work, or that I would want to own almost every bike I see.
It just isn't fair.

Don't you give your self vacation? Or better yet call in sick.
I understand what your saying, I started riding a little less then a month ago and it seems like there are far to many reasons why I can't ride. Mine also enclude the best excuses, my kids. There are plenty of times where i need to drive the truck so I can drop off or pick up my young-un's somewhere.

Let me run that one by the warden and see what she says. If you don't hear from me in about 30 minutes then she didn't take kindly to the suggestion and I'm probably not in the best of health anymore, but don't worry I won't tell her who suggested it.storysunfolding wrote:

I'm guilty of wanting every new bike. I'm crazy that way.
If I actually had a big wad of money in the bank, hell, I'd be buying bikes left and right.
Hell, I was pretty close to buying one of those new CBR125s just to zip around town on for care and giggles. I think that'd be a fun bike to rev the hell out of.
Good thing I can barely afford to keep my current bike!

You're working too hard. Human beings are not made to function like that.oxbow1 wrote:

I hear ya man, on sunny days, I spend more time staring out the window than I do working.oxbow1 wrote:Everybody told me to take the BRC course, get a full face helmet and good gloves, ride within my limits and all the usual saftey stuff.

Leaving work on Friday makes it all worthwhile. Rolling through the parking lot, on my way to the exit, people stop and watch me go by with that unmistakeable look of curiosity on their face.
Where is he heading this weekend? What adventure is in store?
Then, in a flash, I'm gone. Leaving them only with the sound of my exhaust.
Suckerzzzzzz.. Erzzzzzzzz..Erzzzzzzz..
