If they are stupid enough to do it again...call the police and report it stolen. If management doesn't have the ***** to do it, let the police handle it. They will see the tapes and arrest the fools. It wouldn't be funny if it were your car. That just isn't funny at all to me.

Tactically aware and dangerously underestimated!
I moved a guys bike at work last week. He parked in such a manner that he left me no room. I ride my bike everyday, and park in the same spot every day. I have discussed this spot with my boss, as its right in front of the office where he parks. We are a trucking company, and I wanted it where there wasnt any truck traffic that coul run it over.
So, This other guy decides to ride to work one day, and like I said, parked a little CB600RR in the limited are avilable, leaving me with not enough room for the pig I ride, So I moved it. Not far. Just enough to give me room. He had his forks locked too.
If he doesnt like it, he can talk to me. And Ill explain it to him, in the unique way I have.

Moving it a few feet to get your bike out is justifiable, he blocked you in and it's not like he's going to walk out and wonder where "bleep" his bike is.AZRider wrote:I moved a guys bike at work last week. Having it moved to the other side of the parking lot, without explanation, is totally fuct.
Play the situation in reverse.
Imagine what would happen if you found their car unlocked one day, decided to put it in neutral and pushed it to the other side of the parking lot.
Chances are that they would call the cops before they even realised their car was still in the parking lot, assuming it was stolen. Once the cops were involved the video would be evidence and you would probably be fired and possibly charged with theft or vandalism.
I understand what your saying. I guess I didnt say that in my first post. Kinda went off in my own direction, didnt I. I really dont blame you for being mad. actually, i think it's a WORSE offense.The549 wrote:I agree. Bike = same rights as a car in this respect.Bachstrad37 wrote:You wouldn't allow this be done to your car, how is this different with a bike?
Make management responsible for such inappropriate action!
simply because they could've hurt something on the bike that wasn't easily noticeable.
that could happen with a car, but generally if something goes wrong with your car, you pull over and call a tow truck.
if something goes wrong on a bike at highways speeds, it could be disastrous.
tell THAT to the management and the offenders...

This happened to me on the street once. I parked for just a few minutes, and I was kind of an "O Ring" in retrospect--I parked parallel to the curb rather than perpendicular.
When I came out of my buddy's apartment, I couldn't find my bike. Thought it was stolen. This wasn't a parking lot, this was a city street, so it's like "wtf, it was right there."
Turns out, someone (or someones, as it was locked) picked it up, carried it over the curb (city curb, so more than 6" tall) and left it in the grass leaning against a streetlight.
I was FURIOUS. Not only was it on the side stand in the grass, which is a recipe for disaster, but parking in such a spot is illegal and could have gotten me towed. If I had remembered SPECIFICALLY where I parked, I was thinking seriously about doing a little something-something to the car parked in my place.
