I was thinking that, but my gf is about 120 and it doesn't seem to affect the speed much at all. Granted, I haven't been over 75 or 80 with her on, but still.... I dunno.

Yeah that wasnt thought out...

that is one obvious exception...then there is the seeing yer scoot after a wreck and not seeing it where you parked it.

Other than those three tho...there is no crying in motorcycling.

especially over message boarding about motorcycling.
Dyin'? Boy, he can have this little life any time he wants to. Do ya hear that? Are ya hearin' it? Come on. You're welcome to it, ol' timer. Let me know you're up there. Come on. Love me, hate me, kill me, anything. Just let me know it.

What about when you're on your bike and you got a bit of diesel exhaust in your eye and you start crying a bit to get it out of your eye?

Reading all the replies here, I would say that responses are usually realistic, sometimes blunt, and often not what the poster wants to hear in response.

But it's their lives, and their money, so off they goes...

Hahhaah.. I have a Ninja 250, and even on that I was a little scared. I popped the clutch early in the learning processes because I thought I would just acclerate faster. Well.. I DID, but lets just say I was staring at the sky for a few breif seconds.

Now.. if I was on a 600cc GSXR, it would been a differnt story.

Consider it self preservation / regulation. The last thing we need as a community (all who ride) is more news of a rider who wasn't mature enough to handle high powered bikes to get the non riding public up in arms over our "sport" ( i use mine to commute so it shouldn't be just a sport).
One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back.
