Some sort of retro-classic modern hybrid? Who ever lead the design team should b itch slapped about the head without mercy.
Always ask why.

I dunno, I like it. I've seen it in person, pics don't work for it. It looks good to me, kind of a smooth lined cruiser. I think a lot of people who like the Goldwing look but want a V-Twin will like it.

You guys have to see it in person. I thought it looked goofy as hell in all the photos but when I sat on it at the dealership it just "fit" and seeing how the lines flow in person is much different than trying to picture them from a few 2D photos. The only downside is that the bags don't have that much room given the design.

That said, Victory lets you test ride the bikes and that thing drops into corners like you wouldn't believe. The motor and trans are silky smooth and its available lean will blow your mind. The bike is perfectly balanced although the gas tank is a bit odd.

Everyone who test rode the bike couldn't stop smiling and for the price it's a deal as a full dressed motorcycle. I almost bought one and this comes from a guy who hated the bike on principle as an owner of the Yamaha Vision

Think I have to disagree with you on this one Wrider, that is one butt ugly bike. Mind you if they lost that high rear trunk, trimmed back the bat-wing front fairing a bit and cleaned up the rear end and tail lights, then they maybe on to something.

I am more preferential towards standards and really not much for cruisers or tourers, however if I was to got for a cruiser, it would be the M109R Personally, I think that Suzuki got there first and did it right with its Boulevard-M109R.

Honestly, and I know Victory knows that I post unbiasedly, I don't like the look of the bike myself. When it first came out in press photos, I was thinking... hummm... now that's a very brave design move.

Will it influence other motorcycle designs? Hopefully the other manufacturers respect it's uniqueness. :D

Bubba - Great topic and thank you very much for linking the Total Motorcycle model guide for the reference, much appreciated!!!

Only problem is that ugly fairing is where they hid the gas tanks (one on each side. It has a big fuel capacity, and getting rid of the tank between the legs made more room for the rider. Good idea, but yeah, it looks really funny.

Wait a mo....you're telling me they hid the fuel tanks in the fairing? Basically out in the open? Am I the only one that see a big potential problem with this?
