New to the forum - Hi

Thanks for the reminder about the Northern Cascade route. I'm originally from Lake Stevens so I've been on that route a few times, just never on a Motorcycle. What a great idea. I'm going to hook up with my brother who lives in Lake Stevens. After a day or 3 we're going to head down to Clatskanie Oregon and visit my mom.

Hey welcome to the forum pappy, good to see you're getting a few miles of practice in on that nice ride.pappy1398 wrote:I'm going to buy one of those wood bead seat pads for now, hope that helps.

About those beads... I've never used them myself, I hope they work out, but if it was me, I would probably buy a gel pad. The following article rates those beads quite high...

Another option, although more expensive is the "Cross Gel" seat pad...

Enjoy your ride...

Thanks Buelligan. Your husband is obviously a man of great character and discernment.
I agonized over getting the blue or black in the showroom for 45 minutes. I did add an old-school tall sissy bar. I just like the looks better than the smaller one's that are in fasshion now. I don't have an updated pic yet.
