Great vid Rhadam!

I was surprised that homeless guy didn't approach you when you stopped.

Is that a "normal" day of riding for you? Wow. I live in a much more rural area. Don't have to deal with half of that. Stay safe

No kidding, that right there, even in my truck, I go on alert mode as I approach. Doors are locked, exit path chosen, I don't crowd the car in front of me and one eye stays on the dude until I'm out of there, not to mention a note is made of where and what I am carrying that day.

It is pretty typical. Of course these are the highlights of a commute. Most of it is pretty bland.

I can say pretty definitively though, that the way home is always more interesting than the way there. Guess the crazies are sleeping in the morning.

Well, they don't actually do anything towards me when I am on my bike. Maybe I look like a badass on my moped.

Anyway, even in my car these guys are always very polite. It is a hey man as they walk by and they look at you and try to make eye contact and you either give them something or they move on.

I guess I'm just used to it.

You know, I think you get used to anything. I mean, the bums are always there - they know the time everyone goes home and they know the roads people take to get to the Cross Bronx.

The guy backing in to me, that doesn't happen often. Although I do remember wondering just where I was going to go if he kept moving backwards. Maybe he actually heard my horn?

I have another little collection I'm going to make. I need to get rid of all this raw data. It takes up too much space. But I'll keep the highlights like this.

It's not too bad... though the TLC have to do something about those aggressive cab drivers. And they wonder why insurance is so damn high. Morons.

Actually, up in the Bronx, the Yellow taxies don't come up here. I think it is too rough for them.

I was told - if I'm going to take a taxi... Don't take the yellows up here - take the black Lincoln Town Cars. Something about them not being safe in the Bronx.

They don't drive too bad up in the Bronx. Still, they have snuck up next to me and surprised me that they were there. Good thing I do head checks.

For those big speed bumps I dont even slow down, just rise off my seat a little.

Also- rule of thumb for most any bike is that you can run over anything that's the height of your front wheel's axel. I've done it when needed... or for fun on everything from my ninja 250 to my gsxr 750 with no problems. Only bike it won't work with is my sidecar unless I want to lose the tub.

I'll try that out sometime. I do rise off my seat to go over them, but I haven't been ballsy enough to take them at speed.

Although I'm not sure I want to test out the axle height thing until I really have to.
