Nonregestered users

I am looking at the bottom of the main forum page and notice that 103 people are currently on and only 6 are regestered users. This goes out to the ones who are not regestered sign up it is free and painless then you can post and also see more options on the forum screen.

All forums seem to have their share of lurkers. I lurked for a couple of weeks before I signed up. I have done that with other forums as well....lurked before leaping so to speak. Sometimes I sign up and sometimes I decide it's not for me.

Unlike many other forums out there I don't make it a requirement that you sign in to view messages or even see the forums. Members only need to login for posting, polling or replying to a message so the majority just lurk, reading thousands of posts each day.

I'd like it if they signed in, then members know who is on the forums in case they want to go to the Chat Room or PM them. Also logging in shows that you are actually actively around on the boards still.
