hope youre' ok!Wordherder wrote:Yah, I spent last weekend buttoning up the bikes for the winter. Sta-Bil, quick run around the block, fresh oil, filters, clean and gap the plugs.
They look so forlorn out there in the shed, big chain and padlock thru the back tires, plastic bags over the pipes to keep the critters out.
Later that afternoon, the first flakes came in off the lake.
One, two, three, four, five months until I can even think about getting mine out again. Bummer. I hate living in Chicago.
im in naperville too and the winter suck!
you going to the Bike show in Rosemont in Feb?
send me an email and maybe we can meet up!

I took my Bonneville out yesterday. It felt good, first ride since 12/29. Thought about riding to work today, but chickened out and now I'm glad - there was an impressive amount of salt and brine on the road up Princeton way.Brackstone wrote:I just went out for a spin today!

Went out Sunday, good thing too...can't get out of the neighborhood now.
I follow a new highway I haven't traveled before.
