I am a child.
So, I have a 2004 Ford Escape now, and I am WAY too immature to own a vehicle with any sort of ground clearance. Right now the Escape is parked only half in the driveway. The other half is on the snow bank. I really can't wait to lift/bigger tire this thing. No curb will be safe! So far, having come from a "it's just a ford" background, I really like this thing.

The day you stop doing silly things with your SUV is the day you finally grow up... and I'm doing everything I can do avoid that day. My '99 GMC Jimmy 2dr 4X4 takes me places I wouldn't dream of going in a car. Same thing with my wife's '06 Jeep Liberty, although I've learned the hard way to wash it first before handing her back the keys.

Welcome to the club, I have a 2000 ford ranger and for the fist year i had it i would spend my days off of school or work finding good spots to go get stuck. However my truck is looking a little worse for wear after being backed into by an f-150, but it still gets the job done.
When the snow melts is probably the best time to get your 4x4 dirty if you have any surrounding land that permits such activity.
Have fun!

Chances are that's how my Subaru would look like when I get one. I'm a good boy when I drive our Nissan Pathfinder... meanwhile the Mazda 3 gets one hell of a workout with me behind the wheel.
So how long are you stuck with the Fix Or Repair Daily?

One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back.
