Honda CBR125's
I was at the Honda dealer today having a couple of gaskets cut, so I took a look around while I was waiting. I went over to the sport bikes and saw three brand new CBR125's. I had to do a double take. I said to the sales guy, "I thought you can't get these in the US." He said, "You can't, we went to Canada and brought them back, technically we have to sell them as used." For only $3500 I'd buy one if I had the money. Sweet little bikes, had them in White, Red, Black. Anyone think I could buy one without my wife knowing?

They are new, the only miles they have on them I would imagine are rolling them from trailer to trailer. I would guess the higher price was from having to buy them from a dealer in Canada, then having to pay import tarriffs at the border, and still make a little bit of $$$.

I'd love to have one just to run around town, and maybe as a track bike. I'm of the opinion that the manufacturers are missing out on sales by not making more small displacement bikes available in the States.

If it is highwayable/commutable... I'd probably buy it in a second. I can only imagine it has sporty ride and gets incredible gas mileage.
I'd have to get rid of the B-King, though...

I wonder if you can register them for street use. Selling them is one thing. If they are only ridden on the track I could see where it would be a-ok.
But registered for street use I suspect is another thing altogether.
