1986 suzuki calvalcade just clicks no start
this bike sat a few years i got it started in about 10 min after i got to the fuel ports road it a few weeks started running better and better .then battery died again and again replaced rectafier and all better .Now when i try to start i hear a click but no start wait a min.and hear a different type of click and try again sometimes it will start others not any idea???? O-yea when it does decide to turn over it starts very strong like nothing was ever wrong thxs for any help in advance (roughmetal)

make sure your starter button is clean and not all corroded or spider infested. it sounds like the contact is really hit or miss...
check the contacts on the starter solenoid and relay as well...

I'm guessing first off that it's a weak battery. Test it when there's no load on it, you should get about 12 volts, and then again while cranking the bike over, it shouldn't go below 10 volts. If it does you need a new battery or a trickle charger to bring that one back to life.
If that's not it then I vote for a flat spot on the starter...

Yeah I know what you mean, fully faired touring bikes are not easy to work on... I honestly don't know where the starter is on there. Chances are it's on top of the bottom engine case right behind the cylinders.
