Today being Monday it was back to work. Nothing exciting to report!
If you come for a visit I might even splurge some of my hard earned money to get you a pint for saying that!

Re: What did you do today...
Submitted my FAFSA because I decided I'm not liking the volatile bike/atv/fun toy mechanic market. I'm thinking of going back for a mechanical engineering degree.

Good luck with the funding....
The world could always use another "geek", my eldest daughter has a mechanical engineering degree, her husband has a chemical engineering, gas and oil degree... (And she won't even let me move in to enjoy the fruits of my child support payments... lol)

Re: What did you do today...
Unloaded all my step-daughter's belongings from a 24' truck into a storage unit in the middle of a nor'easter. Got soaked. But she didn't have to pay another day's rental on the truck.
Yep, she's back here from Texas, living here temporarily (I hope), things didn't work out there.

Re: What did you do today...
I woke up at 9 yesterday and spent the day really busting my hump to get stuff done, got a call from my security company asking me to work today from 6 AM to 4 PM. Sure no problem I'll just head to bed early. Then get a frantic call at 8:30 PM from them asking if I can squeeze in a 4 hour shift. So I worked from 9:30 PM to 1:30 AM, got home at 2, woke up at 5, was at work by 6, and worked til 4 today... I'm tired...

Re: What did you do today...
LOL in my limited experiences 1 out of 5 engineers are actually good at being an engineer. The rest are either moronic engineers that arent very bright (as a mechanic I can make them look stupid and I dont have as much of a college edumacation), gullible managers, or just paper pushers. We have had some very good engineers come through our company but they usually dont last long because after they get some experience and move on to bigger and better things.
Anyways I spend everyday pulling at myself to keep from going and getting a loan on that white 1100 multistrada 2009 that is sitting on the life cycle motorcycles floor. So hard to do but I must keep saving lol.
