I suggest that you get a service manual for your bike. The procedure takes about three pages the explain.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Re: 1980 KZ1000 LTD
I KEEP TRYING AFTER I POSTED THIS AND IT FINALLY CAME BACK TO ME AFTER A FEW MORE TRYS I GOT THE OLD BIKE GOING IT RUN GREAT BUT THANKS FOR THE HELP . ITS PRETTY SIMPLE PUT CRANK AT TDC THEN PLACE INT CAM SO MARKS ARE INLINE WITH GASKET SURFACE MAKE SURE THE SLACK IS OUT OF CHAIN FROM CRANK TO INT CAM THEN COUNT 28 PINS AT THE 28TH PIN PUT YOUR EX MARK AND THERE YOU HAVE IT PUT ALL YOUR CHAIN IDLERS IN PLACE THEN YOUR TENSIONER IN PLACE AND SPIN THE MOTOR SLOWLY AND CHECK ALL YOUR MARKS THEY SHOULD BE AOK.

Good to hear you got it sorted. However, posting in all caps is considered to be shouting and somewhat rude.
Always ask why.
