That is true... I met a guy down in PHX who had a collection of all except for one of the turbo bikes ever made. Including the 650 and 500. Some he had two or three examples of. All were original and in tip top shape. Not one had more than 10K miles on it...
Have owned - 2001 Suzuki Volusia
Current bike - 2005 Kawasaki Z750S
MMI Graduation date January 9th, 2009. Factory Certifications in Suzuki and Yamaha

Confederate wraith, actually saw one here in SA, but the bugger would not let me ride it
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

I was going to give you a hard time and tell you that I wouldn't ride with anyone on a pink bike.....but that would have been hypocritical......

You got me with that one other than it's a BMW...maybe from the early 70's, but I would guess it's a custom chopper, not a stock model. :D

Took that pic at an MC rally in Germany back in '84. It was the first time I'd ever seen a BMW modified that way and I spent some time chatting with the owner about it... unfortunately, I can't recall all the details as I was under the affluence of incohol at the time.
