I was going to give you a hard time and tell you that I wouldn't ride with anyone on a pink bike.....but that would have been hypocritical......
Ha ha ha ha ha... First it was teal trucks, then pink bikes? What's wrong with you???!!!!

:sofa:
In my defense it was 1990, and I ordered the RED one from a black and white photo in a magazine...... :P What arrived was THIS:

It must not have been all bad. I had more positive comments on that bike at that time than I have had on any Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki or KTM that I have had since. It also sealed the deal with Mrs. High_Side, carrying us on our first date about 1 month after I picked it up.

No regrets! :kicking:

Ahhh so another manufacturer trying to pass PINK off as RED... I'll never forget when I asked the sales guy at Blackfoot what the price of "the pink bike" was, he said "what pink bike?... OH you mean the Nuclear Red Triumph?" I am still laughing.

I'm glad it worked too! You two make a perfect pair and great friends to boot.

Lots of sexy bikes!

Of course I was trusting after this little piece of tail as my first bike back in the early, early 90's. Yes, I did buy one for $1500 CDN in 1991.

"1983/4 Honda Magna V30.... It's the tail"*. :D

*That should have been the tag line for it at the time.

The decals had a distinctively pink look to them....but hey it was 1990 and it was still a lot better than the stuff Suzuki was doing back then!

Oh yeah sort of a dark fuscia. Fuscia was a popular color in the 90s. I love the 90's bold graphics, like the Purple/Metallic Yellow/White Smoky Joe CBRs and the Purple/Lime Green/White ZX7Rs. In fact the 90s had the best graphics ever! Along with the best hip hop ever and the best club music! :kicking:

The green and white ZX7s were awesome back then. The original CBR900 and RC45s were beautiful as well.

LOL - those are quite the graphics, looks just like the colour schemes used by most bike manufacturers in the day. (Not that I actually remember that because I was just a wee girl at the time... )

Remember Vuarnet and Ocean Pacific though? Ridiculous!
